Iran's [gas] capability has significantly increased, Yury Sentyurin told the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA).

About Iran's presence in Europe's gas market and competition with Russia, Sentyurin said the GECF is after preserving the market, and the member countries should find their customers.

Founded in 2008, GECF is an international organization which has 12 members and seven observers that share information and experiences in producing and exporting national gas across the world.
