Iranian firms to participate in 'Qatar Project' exhibition

The 15th Qatar Project will be held on May 7-10, 2018 in Doha by slogan dubbed as 'Plans for future' with participation of 500 domestic and foreign companies from 20 countries.

Commercial attaché in Iran's embassy in Doha Mohammad Baqeri said in a coordination meeting of participating companies' representatives that the Iranian companies are mainly specialized firms in construction and construction materials.

He expressed hope that the Iranian companies participation in the fair helps to development of growing ties between Iran and Qatar.

The exhibition is to be inaugurated by Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser Al-Thani and is the sole fair in this country in the field of construction and related industries.

It is estimated that infrastructure plans of Qatar is around 16 billion dollars.

Qatar government has allocated 8 billion dollars for this year developmental plans.

The exhibition is being held one year after severing ties with Qatar by Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Egypt.
