Israel targets Golan Heights

After some mortars hit the northern part of the Golan Heights, the Israeli army targeted the Syrian army's artillery base, read the statement of the Zionist regime.

The Israeli army said in the statement that Syria is responsible for the mortar attack and Israel will not stand any attempt that endangers its terrirorial integrity and Israeli citizens' lives.

The Zionist regime occupied the Syrian-owned Golan Heights in 1967 and annexed them in 1981. However, the global community has never recognized the occupation.
