Yemen Ansarallah: Criminals’ acts not to remain unanswered

According to Yemeni media, Badreddin al-Houthi made the remarks in reaction to killing of the President of the Supreme Political Council of Yemen Saleh Ali al-Sammad by Saudi aggressors in Al Hudaydah.

Aggressors especially US and Saudi Arabia are responsible for death of Saleh Al-Sammad, he said.

His martyrdom will make Yemenis motivated to consolidate the internal frontiers, he added.

Meanwhile, Defense Ministry of Yemen in a statement said Yemeni armed forces will give crushing response to the recent crime.

Conducting this brutal adventurism, the aggressive forces and their leaders crossed all red lines without thinking about its consequences, the statement reads.

Saudi and Emirati invaders and their supporters and the great evil the US should wait for a crushing response, Yemeni Defense Ministry announced.

“The Supreme Political Council announced in its meeting on Monday the martyrdom of President Saleh Al-Sammad,” Yemeni media SANNA reported in a statement.

“In the meeting, the Council members approved the selection of Mahdi Mohammad Hussein Al-Mashat as President of the Council for the next session in accordance with the Council’s internal regulation,” the statement reads.

Saudi Arabia and its regional allies attacked Yemen in March 2015 to bring back to power the deposed president of Yemen Abdrabbuh Mansour Hadi.

Thousands of Yemenis have been killed in the attacks by the Saudi-US coalition and more than 2,000 have died due to a cholera epidemic.
