Afghan official satisfied with visa issuance to refugees in Iran

One thousand visas are issued every day, Sabour told the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) on Monday.

According to Afghan Foreign Ministry estimates, about 2,500,000 Afghan immigrants residing in Iran have no visas, he said.

Iran enjoys good capacity for issuing 7,000 visas per day, he said adding :By following Iranian pattern, we in cooperation with foreign ministry have managed to increase the number of passports issued per day to 6,500.'
