Bodies of eight out of 11 people aboard crashed Turkish plane found

Despite earlier reports by some media outlets that the bodies of the victims had been burnt, local people and eye-witnesses said the bodies found today could all be identified, Reza Zaheri told the Islamic Republic News Agency.

The bodies would be transported down the mountain by helicopters Monday morning, he said.

Turkish business jet carrying eight passengers and three crew members crashed into a mountain in central Iran on Sunday, killing all on board.

The plane was flying back to Istanbul from the Emirate of Sharjah. The plane was reportedly owned by Basaran Holding, a company active in construction and building luxury yachts.
