Zarif made the remarks during a meeting with his Georgian counterpart Mikheil Janelidze on the sidelines of the 54th Munich Security Conference.
The meeting focused on ways to promote economic, transit and banking cooperation.
The Georgian side, for his part, referred to increasingly growing tourism cooperation between Iran and Georgia, voicing his country's willingness to participate in small-sized and quick-return projects.
Cooperation on transit corridors was also discussed by the two ministers.
