IRNA chief stresses expansion of cooperation with Syrian media

Seyyed Zia Hashemi said during a meeting with the Syrian Ambassador to Iran Adnan Mahmoud on Saturday.

The IRNA chief, for his part, hailed the Syrian people, government and army victories over terrorism and noted that the Iranian people are happy for the developments.

He highlighted the importance of media war in the world today and said that it is much important than the political and military war.

'IRNA is ready to develop its bilateral cooperation with Sana better than before,' the official noted.

IRNA chief pointed to the recent terrorist attack against IRNA office in Damascus, and said that it will reinforce our commitment to elevate media cooperation with Syria.

The Islamic Republic News Agency is ready to transfer experience to Syrian media and use its capacities for training the Syrian journalists, he added.

IRNA chief wished that the Syrian people would overcome their problems and find their high place in the international scene.
