Iranian wrestler auctions his Olympic medal for Iran quake sufferers

Jokar received silver medal in 2004 Summer Olympics (Athens 2004) and he was the first athlete from Hamedan province who bagged Olympic medal.

A 7.3-magnitude earthquake shook the western province of Kermanshah and the regions bordering Iraq on Sunday night.

So far, death toll from the quake has hit 432 with the number of injured reached 9,388.
