Two Iranian inventors auction their medals for quake-hit kids

Paldi told IRNA on Wednesday that necessary coordination has been made by National Olympic Committee to put on auction the medals and allocated the amount for quake-hit children in west of Iran.

'Our gold medals for the years 2016 and 2017 will be put on auction,' he added.

'We hope by this action we may take a small step to relieve pains of these kids', Paldi concluded.

A strong earthquake magnitude 7.3 on the Richter scale jolted western provinces of Iran on Sunday November 12, 2017 at 21:48 hours local time, which left 432 dead and 9,388 injured so far.
