IRGC dismantles terrorist group in northwestern Iran

In a statement that was released on Thursday, IRGC wrote that a terrorist team backed by the global arrogance had entered Chaldoran in the uppermost northwestern part of Iran near the Turkish border on Wednesday night and killed two local residents.

The statement added that the IRGC forces chased, fought and totally annihilated the terrorists; four terrorists were killed and their equipment, including arms, ammunition and communication equipment, was confiscated.

The statement reiterates that the IRGC is in line with other armed forces and fully ready to defend Iran against enemies and will react decisively against any attempt to create insecurity in Iran.
