
Ireland attaches great importance to its relations with Iran and the country put on the agenda opening Ireland mission in Tehran, Denis O'Donovan said Wednesday in a meeting with Iran envoy to Ireland Javad Kachuian.
He also pointed to Irish economic delegation's upcoming trip to Iran, saying the tour will promote economic and trade ties and cooperation.
Meanwhile, Kachuian referred to Iran's geographical and geopolitical position in the region as the island of stability in the Middle East and in western Asia.
Iranian ambassador emphasized the importance of both countries' cooperation in renewable energies, information technology, aerial industries, hygiene, drug, medical tools, financial and banking technologies, agriculture and food technology and educational fields.
He elaborated on Tehran stances as regard important regional and international developments and he underlined fighting terrorist groups and creating peace and stability in the region.
Iranian diplomat urged all signatories to stay committed to Iran nuclear deal otherwise known as Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).
