Iran condoles passing away of Iraq's ex-president

The message reads that the elevated figure spent years of his life fighting Ba'athist dictatorship. When in office as Iraqi president, he endeavored to help further deepen brotherly relations between the two neighboring states and he always attempted to maintain Iraq’s territorial integrity and unity among all Iraqi ethnic groups.

At the end, Iranian envoy wished him God's blessings and patience for his family.

Talabani passed away at the age of 83 in a hospital in Berlin, Germany, for consequences of a stroke.
