Diplomat: Time ripe for more pistachio import from Iran by Bangladesh

Addressing the fourth national pistachio festival, Bhuiyan said Bangladesh welcomes boosting trade with Iran on high trade and economic potential of Iran.

He said Iran and Bangladesh have had voluminous transactions and relations since a long ago and his visit to Iran aimed to upgrade volume of trade.

The diplomat referred to many Iranian literary texts translated into Bangali language and said considerable number of Iranian and Bangladeshi students are busy studying in the either country and exchange culture.

He underlined further relations between Iran and Bangladesh and the priority given to quality is evident from more bulk of pistachio imported by Bangladesh from Damghan.
