Int'l Telecommunication Union ready to implement IoT in Iran

Iran is a pioneering country in the world as regard IoT field, Vahid Yazdanian said.

The Internet of things (IoT) is the inter-networking of physical devices, vehicles (also referred to as 'connected devices' and 'smart devices'), buildings, and other items embedded with electronics, software, sensors, actuators, and network connectivity which enable these objects to collect and exchange data.

The first IoT international workshop was held in Tehran, Iran on July 8.

International Telecommunication Union (ITU) is a specialized agency of the United Nations (UN) that is responsible for issues that concern information and communication technologies.
