He was accompanied by the President of Asian Taekwondo Union Kyu-seok Lee.
They were accorded warm welcome by the President of Iran's Taekwondo Federation Mohammad Pouladgar.
The competitions will begin in Kish Island on Thursday (Feb 28) and will continue until March 3.
The event will be participated by some 565 karatekas from different world countries, including, Azerbaijan Republic, the United states, Jordan, Armenia, Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, Ukraine, Iran, Pakistan, Tunisia, China, Russia, Syria, Sweden, Iraq, Oman, Kazakhstan, South Korea, Georgia, Lebanon, Poland and India.
