Mohammad Nazemasharieh and Shahrzad Mozaffar have been nominated for the 19th edition of the award, granted by FutsalPlant website.
Iran’s Mes Sungun, the title winner of 2018 AFC Futsal Club Championship, was nominated for the best club of the year.
Earlier, other Iranians had been nominated by the website including Farzaneh Tavassoli for the best women’s goalkeeper, Fatemeh Etedadi for the best futsalist, Alireza Samimifor the best men’s goalkeeper , Gelareh Nazemi for the best women’s referee.
Iran’s national men’s and women’s teams have also been nominated for the best national team.
Former coach of Mes Sungun, Hamid Bi-Gham, was announced as one of the 10 nominees of the best world futsal coach.
