He made the remarks in a meeting with Iran's Vice President for Scientific and Technological Affairs Sourena Sattari on Tuesday.
"Mutual collaboration will help to the region's prosperity," he added.
Turkish minister further noted that reciprocal efforts of the two countries in the fields of industry and technology will help expand collaboration in other areas.
Noting that close dialogue and multilateral cooperation between Iran and Turkey will play a crucial role in regional stability and prosperity, he maintained that mutual efforts can help promote collaboration in the fields of industry, technology and sciences.
He also condoled with Sattari on the loss of lives in the Ukrainian plane incident near Tehran.
