In his message to Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, Rahmon expressed his assurance that the constructive relations between Tehran and Dushanbe will continue to fulfill both countries' vital interests.

He also stressed Tajikistan’s determination to act successfully in promoting and materializing Islamic values, satisfaction, brotherhood, solidarity, and supporting each other.

He also wished more progress for Iranian people.

President Rouhani earlier in a message to Rahmon congratulated Eid al-Fitr and described it as the manifestation of solidarity, solidarity and consolidation of social ties among Muslims.

Eid al-Fitr, one of the most important festivities in Islam, is the first day of Shawwal month. It marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan during which Muslims fast from sunrise to sunset.
