In his remarks, Ayatollah Khamenei underscored that Iran's policies will not be affected by who wins the US presidential elections.
Daily ‘Dawn’ reported Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Ali Khamenei reiterated a long standing Iranian position that it didn't matter whether Trump or Joe Biden wins the vote, but the stakes couldn't be higher for the Islamic Republic.
He added that the result of the vote “is none of our business, meaning it won't influence our policy at all".
Pakistan's Urdu ‘Express’ newspaper reported that Supreme Leader of Iran during a speech had stated that the results of the US election or the coming to power of Trump or Joe Biden would have no impact on Iran’s policy.
"If you look at their own situation, it's lovely to watch. The incumbent president, who is supposed to hold the elections, says this is the most-rigged US election throughout history,” Khamenei said.
Urdu daily’ Jang’ said Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution in a speech remarked that Iran's policy towards the United States will not change even after the US presidential election results.
Supreme Leader said that the US election results would not affect Iranian policy.
Daily ‘Business Recorder’ it its report said Iran's Supreme Leader says the US presidential election will have "no effect" on Tehran's policies towards Washington.
"On the subject of the United States, we follow a sensible, calculated policy (which) cannot be affected by changes of personnel" in Washington, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said in a televised speech marking the anniversary of the birth of the Prophet Mohammed.
"Today is election day in the United States. Things may happen but they do not concern us," he said. "Our policies are well defined and the coming and going of (presidents) will have no effect" on them.
‘Radio Pakistan,’ reported that Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has said that the result of the US presidential election will not affect Tehran's policy towards Washington.
In a statement in Tehran, he said it does not matter who comes and goes. He said Iran follows a sensible and calculated policy which cannot be affected by changes of personnel.
