Rouhani receives members of Iran's national sitting volleyball team

In the meeting, held on the sidelines of a provincial Administrative Council session in Tabriz, the President congratulated the team members on their victory in the World League and thanked them and their coaches for their efforts to attain such a great success.

The Iranian sitting volleyball team ranked first in World League held in Sadra Sports Complex of Tabriz.
Iran defeated Russia 25-21, 25-23 and 28-26 in the final match.

The US and Germany competed for the 5th rank and the Germany was the winner.

To receive the third title Bosnia and Herzegovina overpowered Ukraine and bagged the bronze medal.

The event was held with participation of 6 top teams from Iran, Russia, Germany, Ukraine, Bosnia and Herzegovina and the US.
