It said that Asian games will take place in Jakarta on August 18-September 2.

Boxing in Pakistan is slowly rising in popularity due to which Pakistan has seen success at amateur level boxing despite lack of necessary equipment and facilities. They have won medals at the Olympic and Commonwealth Games.
