One more place for Iran in Winter Paralympic Games quota

Iran had earlier received 4 quotas in snowboard and cross country running fields, Saveh Shemshaki said.

The players will be in training camp until March 1 and leave for South Korea on March 2, he noted.

Iran's competitions will be held on March 10-20.

About 550 athletes from 42 countries are competing in the tournament.

The Winter Paralympic Games is an international multi-sport event where athletes with physical disabilities compete in snow and ice sports. This includes athletes with mobility disabilities, amputations, blindness, and cerebral palsy.

The games will be played on March 9-18 in South Korea.
