OIC sports ministers conference kicks off in Baku

Iran Minister of Sports and Youth Masoud Soltanifar is scheduled to deliver a speech at the conference.

The OIC strategic plan and its future activities will be discussed and decisions will be made for choosing the Islamic World youths capital.

The conference is a valuable opportunity for discussing issues related to youths empowerment such as employment, and their contribution to sustainable development.

Soltanifar is also to meet with Islamic countries sports ministers on the sidelines of the event.

The preparatory meeting of the Fourth Islamic Conference of Youth and Sports Ministers (ICYSM) was launched in Baku, capital city of Azerbaijan on April 17.
