Junior weightlifter wins 3 gold medals in Asian championship

Soltani who has already secured his gold medal in snatch competitions by lighting 144 kg early in the day grabbed two more gold medals in clean and jerk and total. In clean and jerk he cleared 180 kg to raise his total to 324 kg in the 77 kg weight category.

A weightlifter from host country Uzbekistan with 313 kg in total (143 kg in snatch and 170 kg in clean and jerk) took the second place followed by the South Korean weightlifter who cleared 132 kg in snatch, 166 kg in clean and jerk and 298 kg in total.
