Jahanbakhsh, now playing for the Premier League side Brighton, scored 21 in the Dutch league with AZ Alkmaar last season to receive the top-scorer prize on Monday night.
Jahanbakhsh was also named Eredivisie’s second-best player of the season and took the Silver Boot, following Ajax’s midfielder Hakim Ziyech.
The 25-year-old Moroccan scored nine goals in 34 appearances for Ajax last season, helping his side to a second-spot finish in the league.
Ziyech’s teammate Matthijs de Ligt came third.
The award is given by the Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf in partnership with the Dutch football federation.
