Iran's female chess player runner-up in world

On the last day of the World Speed Chess Championship in the city of St. Petersburg, Russia, Alireza Firuzja, Parham Maqsudlo, Ehsan Qaem Maqami and Sarah Khadem ul-Sharie competed with their opponents.

In the women's section, Khadem ul-Sharie won 13 points out of 17 points, making herself the runner-up for the first time in the history of chess in Iran.

In this tournament, the Russian 'Lagno' won championship with 13.5 points and Tien Ji Li from China ranked third with 12.5 points.
