Jahangiri extended his congratulations on the superb performance of Iranian sportsmen and women who won 20 gold medals in various fields, and achieving the best team results in volleyball, basketball, kabaddi and water polo.

The Iranian delegation gained a total number of 62 medals in the Asian Games 2018,in Palembang and Jakarta.

The games hosted by Indonesia began on August 18 and was wrapped up on September 2.
