Iranian shooter auctions her gold medal for Iran quake victims

Talking to the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) on Wednesday, Javanmardi condoled with the bereaved family of Iranian quake-stricken people.

Sareh Javanmardi who won gold medal in 2016 Rio Paralympics Games has been nominated by International Paralympics Committee (IPC) as the best female athlete in September.

A 7.3-magnitude earthquake shook the western province of Kermanshah and the regions bordering Iraq on Sunday night.

So far, death toll from the quake has hit 432 with the number of injured reaching 9,388.
