Iranian men rowing team ranked third in the canoe sprint double 200m in 41.596 seconds, making it to the final. Uzbek and Indonesian rowers came first and second respectively.
In kayak single 200m, the Iranian female kayaker Arezou Hakimi advanced to the final, and Ali Aqamirzaei in men's kayak managed to reach the semi finals.
The Iranian rowing team has so far grabbed four silver and three bronze medals in various events at the Asian Games.
The games hosted by Indonesia began on August 18 and will wrap up on September 2.
