Iranian karate fighters receive bronze medals in Karate 1

Mahdizadeh in the weight category of -60 kg defeated Russia 6-0 and bagged bronze medal.

He had also overpowered Italy, Egypt and Uzbekistan.

In semi-final match he hit Brazilian rival.

Ahmadi in the weight category of – 67kg defeated British rival 6-0 and snatched bronze medal.

He had also defeated Chile, Luxembourg, Kazakhstan, Turkey and France, but during semi-final match he was overpowered by Japanese athlete 4-0.

Karate 1 - Premier League Halle/Leipzig 2017 was held with the attendance of 1,384 karateka ffrom 87 countries in Germany on September 8-10.
