Iranian female basketball players rank 4th in Asian Champs

It was the first time after 37 years that Iranian female basketball team attended an international event.

In its first match, Iran defeated Nepal and during its second and third games, Iranian team was overpowered by India, but they hit Sri Lanka.

After defeating Maldives, Iranian team advanced semi-final match.

In semi-final match Iranian players were defeated by Malaysia.

The U-16 Women's Asian Championship was held on Oct 22-28 in India.
