Iranian canoe polo champion dedicates medal to victims of Iran quake

Ghiasvand has been recognized as the most technical athlete in Asian canoe polo championships.

During the 2017 Asian Canoeing Championships which was held in Malaysia, he defeated the Japanese rival 6-5 enabling him to grab gold medal.

A 7.3-magnitude earthquake shook the western province of Kermanshah and the regions bordering Iraq on Sunday night.

So far, death toll from the quake has hit 432 with the number of injured reaching 9,388.
