In the finals of 65 kg weight class, Mehran Nasiri overpowered his rival from Azerbaijan Republic to win the goal medal.

Another Iranian wrestler Mojtaba Gelich in the finals of the 97 kg weight category was defeated by his Azerbaijan rival to bag the silver medal.

The competitions are scheduled to continue Sunday for the next five weight categories with Iran being represented by four free-style wrestlers.
