Haddadi won gold as well as his sixth Asian title with a throw of 65.95 meters in the competitions.

Shiri came second with a throw of 60.89 meters and bagged silver in the 23rd Asian Athletics Championships.

Jordan, Qatar, Uzbekistan and China ranked third to sixth, respectively in the competitions.
