Iran wins gold in Spain Karate World Championship

In the final of -76 kilogram category of the youth, he defeated his rival from Morocco 2-0, grabbing first gold for Iran in the global championships.

Prior to final, Sedaqat overpowered his rival from Georgia and won the athlete from Kosovo 3-0 in his second combat.

He also defeated an athlete from Bolivia 4-0 in his third encounter during the event.

World Karate Championship Competitions opened on Wednesday with 1,710 karatekas from 109 countries in attendance and will continue until Sunday.
