Iran wheelchair basketball team runner-up at Asia Oceania Champs

During the final match, Iran was overpowered by Australia 80-54 and stood second.

Iranian team had defeated Saudi Arabia, New Zealand and Thailand to advance the quarter finals.

In the quarter finals match, Iran hit China and went to the semi-final stage.

During the semi-final match Iran overshined Japan.

After defeating Korea 68-54, Japan stood third.

The 2017 IWBF Asia Oceania Championships for Men and Women was held on October 23-28 in Beijing, China.
