Iran swimmers win 4 medals in Thai Youth Olympics qualifying matches

According to Federation of Swimming, Diving and Water Polo, preliminary stage of the first day of competitions was held in Thailand today and Iranian swimmers advanced to final in 100 meter freestyle, 50 meter breaststroke, 200 meter freestyle and 50 meter backstroke categories.

Initially, Sina Gholampour ranked second in 100 meter freestyle in senior class while Ali Reza Yavari won silver medal in 200 meter freestyle in the age group of 16-18 the Youth Olympics qualifiers.

Ali Fathi, the third representative of Iran, won gold medal in 50 meter backstroke while Mehdi Ansari grabbed bronze in 50 meter breaststroke.
