Iran senior football team runner-up at Asian Champs

The event was held with the attendance of Iran, Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Taiwan, Myanmar and Malaysia on March 5-10.

Thailand ranked first and Iran stood on the second place.

Iran had earlier defeated Thailand (B), Taiwan and Laos but in final match it was overpowered by Thailand (A) and ranked second.
