Iran runner-up at Asian Wrestling Champs

Iranian squad with three gold medals received by Ezatollah Akbari, Hassan Yazdani and Mohammad Javad Ebrahimi, Mojtaba Gekij’s silver medal and Mostafa Hossein Khani and Amin Taheri bronze medals stood on the second place.

Uzbekistan with 178 points ranked first and Kazakhstan with 146 points stood third.

The 2018 Asian Wrestling Championships will be held at the Kozhomkul Sports Palace, Bishkek in Kyrgyzstan. The event will take place from February 27 to March 4, 2018.
