Iran national Sabre fencing team stands 4th in World Cup

After defeating teams from Canada and Russia, Iran advanced the semi-final match.

However, in the semi-final stage, te Iranian team was overpowered by Germany 34-45 and could not reach the final match.

The Iranian squad is composed of four fencers: Mojtaba Abedini, Ali Pakdaman, Mohammad Rahbari and Mohammad Fotouhi.

Algeria World Cup was held on November 3-5.
