Qatar won the first and second quarters to take the lead over Iran, but the latter passed over the rival in the third quarter 77-75.

Iranian team consisted of Samad Nikkhah-Bahrami, Hamed Haddadi, Oshin Sahakian, Arsalan Kazemi, Mohammad Jamshidi, Behnam Yakhchali, Sajjad Mashayekhi, Aren Davoudi, Navid Rezaeifar, Meysam Mirzaei, Rouzbeh Arghavan and Mohammad Hassanzadeh during the contest against Qatar.

The Iranian team will lock horns with Kazakhstan team in Tehran on Monday.
