Gholamali Rajabi Yazdi, during the meeting with Julet Ardei, emphasized the importance of sports in establishing inter-nation relations, adding that the embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran has been trying to strengthen and expand the sports ties between the two countries in various arenas.
'In this regard, many of our sports teams have been successful in sporting events in Hungary,' he added.
Rajabi Yazdi referred to common grounds shared with the Hungarian Boxing Federation for the development of cooperation, including the holding of joint camps, participation in national and international competitions in the two countries, exchange of experiences and science and training in the field of boxing. He also invited Ardei to visit Iran and negotiate with his counterpart.
