Iran, Hungary stress cooperation in sports

Iranian Ambassador to Hungary Gholam-Ali Rajabi-Yazdi and President of the Hungarian Volleyball Federation Ferenc Kovács in the meeting explored avenues for cooperation in sports, especially in the field of volleyball.

During the meeting, the Iranian envoy submitted to his host an invitation letter from President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Volleyball Federation Ahmad Ziaei.

Rajabi Yazdi called for organization of joint workshops and exchange of referees and players by Iranian and Hungarian volleyball federations.

President of Hungarian Volleyball Federation in turn accepted his Iranian counterparts' invitation to visit Iran.

Hungary is ready to host the Iranian volleyball team and is keen on signing documents with Iranian Volleyball Federation for cooperation, he added.
