Iran Greco-Roman wrestlers earn colorful medals at Ukraine Memorial

Iran’s Farshad Belfakeh in the weight category of 72 kg defeated Belarusian rival at qualifiers and received a bronze medal.

He had also overpowered Georgia 5-4, but was overshined by Ukraine and advanced to qualifiers stage.

Ramin Bastani in the weight category of 55 kg hit Armenia 4-1 and received a bronze medal.

In 77 weight category, Pejman Poshtam defeated Polish rival and clinched a gold medal.

XXII Outstanding Ukrainian Wrestlers and Coaches Memorial was held on Feb 23-25.
