In the first match Iran's Iman Sadeqi in the weight category of 61kg defeated Indian rival 4-2.
Due to Tajik wrestler's absence in the second stage, Sadeqi won the game and advanced to semi-final match.
During the semi-final match, he hit Kazakhstan 7-2 and entered final match.
After defeating Turkmenistan in final match, he grabbed gold medal.
In 86 kg weight category, Ezatollah Akbari overshined China 13-3.
He also overpowered Pakistani fighter 6-2 and advanced to semi-final match.
After winning semi-final match, Akbari hit Uzbekistan 9-2 in final match and received the fourth gold medal of Iranian freestyle wrestling team in Ashgabat 2017.
Meanwhile, Saeed Dadashpour in the weight category of 70 kg nailed Tajik wrestler 10-0.
But he was overpowered by Russia and later defeated Samoa representative 10-0 and advanced to qualifiers stage.
During the qualifiers, he hit Afghan wrestler 10-0 and bagged bronze medal.
Also Iranian wrestler Yadollah Mohebbi overpowered Kazakh rival in final match and grabbed bronze medal.
The 5th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games is underway with the attendance of 49 countries from Asia and Pacific in Ashgabat.
Iranian squad, including 214 athletes (115 male and 66 female), attended the event.
Iranian athletes participated in twenty fields namely, futsal, table tennis, kickboxing, Muay Thai, Sambo, Kurash, Jujutsu, bowling, billiards, cycling, track-and-field, swimming, weightlifting, freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling, Pahlavani wrestling, Alysh, basketball, taekwondo, horse-riding and chess.
