Iran earns 6 medals at FAZZA Champs

In F54 shot put category, Hamed Amiri received a gold medal.

Zafar Zaker in F55 field snatched a silver medal.

In F37 category of the 200-meter running, Heshem Rastegari clinched a bronze medal.

Abdolnabi Navaser and Alireza Mahmoudi also received bronze medals, in shot put field.

Iran’s Faezeh Kermani also bagged a bronze medal in javelin throw field.

Iranian squad consisted of 16 athletes.

As per the directives of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and the Patron of Fazza Heritage Championships, Fazza
Championships for the Disabled – a newly established tournament – was added to the existing roster of championships in collaboration with the Dubai Club for the Disabled.

The championships aim to enhance the social and cultural integration of people with disabilities, and comprise competitions in a variety of sporting disciplines such as Stronglifts, Badminton, Table Tennis (Ping Pong), Basketball, Athletics, Archery, Boccia, and Bowling.
