Iran discus thrower wins Long Beach competitions

The event was held with participation of 45 athletes.

World champions from Sweden, Germany and Europe also participated in the event.

Haddadi earlier won a gold medal at USSD university competitions held in the United States.

The discus throw is a track and field event in which an athlete throws a heavy disc—called a discus—in an attempt to mark a farther distance than their competitors.
