Speaking to IRNA, head of West Azarbaijan Province Sports Committee for the Disabled Ali Amanzadeh said, Janfeshan defeated all his rivals.

He added that in team category, Hassan Janfeshan and Majid Arabi overpowered rivals from Jordan and Thailand and ranked first.

The Iranian squad could gain seven colorful medals in the competitions, he noted.

In individual category, Iranian athlete Mehdi Masoumi (Class 4) and Amir Hossein Hosseinipour (Class 8) received gold medals.

The event was held with the attendance of 16 teams.

Janfeshan who is a war veteran has so far grabbed 18 international and Asian medals.
