The agreement was signed in a meeting between the representatives of Iranian and Chinese chess federations.
Among the articles of the agreement are exchange of players in international matches, inviting China to partake in Paytakht Cup International Chess Festival, holding camps, and sending coaches for elevation of chess skills in colleges.
International Silk Road chess competitions started in China on May 26 and will finish on June 6.
Seventy-nine chess players from Iran, China, Belarus, Turkey, Slovenia, and Russia are taking part in the event.
